Continuing our series celebrating seasonality, summer takes us to East Africa with a curated selection of three distinct coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. All fresh landings in the UK, this box of three 100g bags allows you to try the newest coffee available and explore the variety of flavour coming from this region.

Isaiso is a regional lot from Tanzania, produced by a 421 member cooperative in the Songwe region of southern Tanzania. We love its big brown sugar and honey sweetness and its gentle, balanced acidity.

From Inoi in Kenya, this washed coffee has the trademark Kenyan fruit, but it was also the sweetest one we tasted this harvest. Super jammy with juicy blackcurrant and cherry, it offers a well structured acidity supported by assertive sweetness. Undertones of marzipan come through for a moreish finish.

Finally, from the highland village of Rumudamo in Ethiopia, we have a washed coffee produced by Cup of Excellence winning producers. It has the refreshingly aromatic and bright cup qualities typically found in Sidama coffee - delicate aromatics of rose, elderflower and lemongrass are brightened by citrus and a deep sweetness.

Tasting Notes: Sweet and gently fruity, this coffee is well balanced with a satisfying depth of flavour. Initial notes of apricot jam develop into sweet almond and melted milk chocolate finish.

100g Inoi - Kenya

Region: Ndimi locality, Kirinyaga County
Altitude: 1650 - 1800 m.a.s.l.
Varietial: SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11, Batian
Process: Washed

Tasting Notes: Super jammy with juicy blackcurrant and cherry for a well structured acidity supported by assertive sweetness. Undertones of marzipan come through for a moreish finish.

Tasting Notes: Delicate aromatics of rose, elderflower and lemongrass are brightened by citrus and a deep sweetness. This is elegantly layered coffee with an extraordinary, lasting finish.
